Kelly Norman, M.Ed., ADHD CE (Certified Educator), is a dedicated child advocate with an uncompromising focus on the individual needs of each unique learner.   Prior to founding EF Advocates,  Kelly worked for the Hill Learning Center as a Reading Teacher and an Executive Function Coach.  At Durham Academy and the Hill Learning Center, Kelly taught Executive Function & Study Skills classes to middle school students.  She also delivered HillRAP (Hill Reading Achievement Program) instruction to elementary students at Y.E. Smith Elementary School in Durham through The East Durham Learning Collaborative.  For 11 years, Kelly served as both an Intervention Specialist and a Special Educator in the Livingston School District in New Jersey.  With over 25 years of experience as a teacher, interventionist, advocate and Executive Function Coach, Kelly specializes in the direct teaching of executive function skills for middle,  high-school and college/graduate students across public, private, chartered and homeschooling communities. Kelly also provides training and mentoring services for professionals seeking to become Executive Function Coaches.
